Super-Easy, Super-Good French Bread

4 c. flour
3 tsp. salt
6 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. yeast
1¼ c. warm water

Add 2 cups of the flour to the salt and yeast in large bowl and stir. Add water and mix. Add honey and mix. Slowly add remaining flour until dough is barely solid enough to handle. Divide dough and mold into two French loaf shapes. Coat French loaf pan with butter and place dough in pan. Let rise until desired height is achieved. (One to five hours) Preheat oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Bake until crust begins to form. (approx. 15 minutes).

Yields two French loaves. Can also be made as a single loaf in loaf pan.
